It is that time of the year when human beings all over the world take stock of what they have experienced throughout the previous year. While some might have had resolutions, others might just have trudged along – month by month – without a care of the passing days.

There is no doubt that it is experiences – good or bad – that make us grow mentally and spiritually. No human being on earth could say bad things have never befallen them. While it is difficult to comprehend, it is said that one should rejoice in trials and setbacks because they make us stronger and more focused.
